What You Should Expect From a “Big John” Performance

My slogan is “Clean Comedy for Dirty Minds” and I try to make it exactly that. I speak as an adult, to adults. With no profanity or obscenities. I have a basic set that I use sprinkled with topical humor, the occasion that brings me to your event, and my Father’s personality.

If it is the first time that I am performing at your venue I try to be an hour early. I call it, “Get Lost Time”, it allows me to get lost and still find your venue in time enough for all parties involved to be comfortable. My second time I arrive 30 minutes early because I know where I am going.

When you book me to perform for you, I work for you so if there is a topic you do not want discussed. I do not discuss it, my goal in performing is two fold. One to entertain everyone involved, two to make you look like a genius for hiring me. You get professionalism, courtesy and low maintenance. I am humbled by the fact that you are willing to hire me, that and a paycheck are usually enough.
